I think a draw would be pretty likely.

We had quite a bit of luck catching the Japanese with their pants down, and sinking three carriers in one blow like that. I think each side losing 1-2 carriers is a more likely scenario. So the real question is, would they still have attempted landing troops on Midway, and would we have been able to stop them.
