First and foremost, I hope he got direction to stop recruiting kids from PA, NJ, and CT/MA as his TOP priority. Sure hope we start to see him and his staff show up with more in-state recruiting emphasis....

Second, I hope he got direction to stop recruiting pitching prospects that are only 6'-5" and taller. There's far more to pitching than "leverage." We've GOT to find kids who are bulldogs and tough competitors, regardless of size.

Third, and across the board, I hope he got the message to value baseball IQ and situational awareness as much as the physical tools. This emphasis alone will win more close games than raw talent.
