The Lowes and Home Depot mowers are basically all the same quality


Just get the one with the best deal that meets your needs, they all are basically the same quality. Husqvarna and John Deer that are at Lowes are not any better than the Troy-Bilt line they carry. 8 - 12 years should be the expected life of any Lowe's mower.

Neighbor and myself got a new mower about the same time 10 years. He got a Husqvarna and I got a Troy-Bilt. He sold the Husqvarna a 3 years ago after having to buy multiple parts. He said it was the worst mower he had ever owned, replaced it with a John Deer. My Troy-Bilt smokes the first few minutes each time I start it, but is still going.
