I had a brief "forgot Dad was gone" moment about 2 weeks ago


My father passed about 6 weeks ago.

About 2 weeks ago, I was making ham salad, something Dad made regularly. I generally don't follow a recipe.

As I'm making it, I'm thinking to myself "do I normally put onions in this? Did Dad? I'll just give him a ca..oh..yeah..I can't do that anymore".
