I think VT would be appealing to recruits even more now that the team has been top 10 for 4 straight years and just moved into the trophy category. So top recruits from other parts of the country will be even more inclined to sign on now. If they look more closely, they'll see that Dresser, Robie and the other coaches have taken numerous very good HS wrestlers and made them elite. In contrast, there are some programs who have recruited elite HS talent, and then they have not advanced. It's a great true story to tell recruits.

Plus, the room is not so overloaded with elite talent (like PSU right now) that top ranked recruits are sitting on the bench behind other top ranked recruit.

So come to VT and be coached by the best, with plenty of talent in the room to push you, and know that you will have four full years starting.
