He's been in our place for 8 months, and has called 4-5 different providers.

Yes, even the providers that don't offer in our neighborhood --- he'll badger the Customer Service reps, and request a "written proposal within 10 days." Then he's shocked when he doesn't hear back from x-provider.

Then he'll say stuff like "This is why companies lose business. They don't understand the value of personal service."

Uhhhhh, actually, they *do* understand the value (and cost) of personal service. And they realize a written proposal (for one friggin Account) is a terrible waste of time & effort.

It's hilarious --- he'll spend 20 hours on the phone, just for the 2% chance of saving $5. It's almost like a hobby (or personality disorder) for him.
