In the 1950s and 60s, there were Bread, Dairy, Snack Food, Ice Cream, Dry..


Cleaning door to door delivery services. There was even door to door Fuller Brush Company salesman. Times change and the cost of door to door services (fuel related) relegated them to dinosaur status. The advent of Super Markets had something to do with it too. I can even remember Doctors that made house calls with their little black bags.
