We know he talked to TCU. We don't know he "aggressively" pursued these jobs. We don't know he's a "man with a plan" or that he was actively trying to get those jobs.

We know he talked to TCU and probably OSU. But there's no indication where on the scale he was between "you'll have to make me the perfect offer to get me to move" and "I'm yours for the taking, please please please."

I think it's pretty clear that Buzz will always wonder about how green the grass is on the side. It's entirely possible, though, that he decided it's currently greener in Blacksburg.

As for why people are reacting the way they are to your post, I think it's because (1) you take the most negative possible interpretation of the facts and (2) seem to revel in it a little bit and (3) chastise those who don't see it the same way you do.
