Subject line aside, very fair points

Certainly could be some overstating. I don't know what you think my desires are ... and I guess it certainly could come down to a matter of perception ...

A lot of this is semantics, I mean, there's a HUGE difference between a guy "trying to GTF out of here ASAP" and like you said "listening to career offers like a responsible adult" (paraphrasing obviously)

I just think it should be known what the situation is - this is not an unwaivering allegiance to virginia tech thing, and never has been! and there's nothing wrong with that!! and you know what there's still time for that to change, since he's still here! but that's beside the point ...

fact is this was VERY real, and it wasn't a "whoa this is crazy where did this come from, i'll listen to what they have to say" it was more directly "I'm going to aggressively pursue these big12 openings because that is my current career goal" and I think he knew after that last NIT game that these jobs would be open and he knew he was going to try to get them. that's different from "wanting to leave" it's more a man who has a plan and is only going to get limited opportunities to act on it ... the takeaway here is that the B12/texas/oklahoma angle is SIGNIFICANT and we as fans should not be shocked if this becomes an EXTREMELY serious dance (again!) whenever comparable jobs open up in the future!

things break in unexpected ways in college basketball. nobody saw buzz going to VT. nobody saw Dixon going to TCU. But that smoke wasn't just huffing and puffing that smoke came because there were VERY REAL fires burning during that dark period, and I believe the quote from rev was "it was about as close as you could have to happening without an actual change occurring"

so, seriously, you guys have fun! I'm done with the nitpicking and hilarious downvoting (lol how middle school) because "you can't handle the truth" !!!

p.s. this particular post I am replying to was actually thoughtful and I appreciate what you're saying, perhaps there was some rhetoric in my post? but most of the people here are embarrassing themselves ... and now I'm swimming with them too so guess what joke's on me ...

I tried!
