University of Alabama at Huntsville also plays DI hockey

If you look at their roster then you will see only 1 player is from Huntsville, AL. However, you will notice that he played for the Sarnia Legionnaires which is a Canadian junior hockey team in Sarnia, Ontario. Even though Sarnia Legionnaires is listed as his "previous school," I don't know how much "schooling" is provided by these junior hockey teams. I do know that players are eligible to play junior hockey if they are between the ages of 16-20. As far as why UAH decided to sponsor hockey, I believe the AD at the time said it was a great way to expose the university to the rest of North American and even the world (since this year's roster has 1 player from England).
