Speaking of crazy, I weighed 160 when I graduated and now 220.

I enjoyed the sport but never wrestled going back to VT in the Southern Conference tourney in the 50s = Brandon Glover, VT's first and only AA for 35 years.
If I did wrestle now (fantasy), I would be in weight class with Ty.
How long would I last (nanoseconds) and would I be able to crawl off the map when it was over? Doubtful.

I was proud of the Hokie moxie stemming from pre-duals Coach Dresser's going after Iowa and Tom Brand.......that may have energized the Hokie wrestlers to some extent.

I only met Tom once while he still riding wave as VT coach. It was after VT defeated Duke at Cameron.....it was very brief but he had that steely eyed look that left me feeling like something was missing. Now we know what was missing......he not a Hokie. Go Hokies.
