They're not referring to job security, they're referring to his health
If Kennedy's health holds up, he'll be Texas A&M's coach for at least the next three years (unless the bottom completely falls out for the next two years or there's some major scandal). Same goes for Shaka at Texas. I could see a situation where Oklahoma is open in 2 years (Kruger retires after two subpar seasons in a row).
But overall, CC and GH are not talking about Kennedy's job condition, but his actual health (my research shows he was diagnosed with early stage Parkinson's a few years ago).
