Put bleachers along the court on one side for students. Make them about 15 rows deep. Then build a wall over a couple rows so that alumni can sit behind. Then make the student section General Admission and implement a rewards structure to get a ticket into that section for student based on attendance at other games/sports/events. The remainder of the students will be in the usual spot behind the basket. Everyone wins.
