Regarding the Audie Murphy memorial...


I've been out on that trail a few times, but not in the past 3-4 years or so. The road out there isn't bad. I've never seen anyone else out there. It's dirt/gravel, but I made it out there in an old VW Jetta.

There really isn't a crash site to see, but there is a small memorial out there on the side of the trail. It wouldn't be the first place I'd go, but if you've done many of the other hikes around here already, It's worth a trip.

I'm teaching a class in Goodwin Hall on Friday. You're welcome to attend!
