Depends on what she wants to do.


If she does not want to be home with the rug rats, regardless of whether the job ends up breaking even (or even losing money), if it makes your wife happy, it is the right choice.

If she does not want to work and leave her kids with others, then it won't matter if she is turning down six figures or more.
