Not different skills, but dual match results don't transfer linearly to

Tournament results. For example if in a dual, team A wins 6 matches to team B's 4 matches, they likely win the dual.

Come tournament time, if all 4 of team B's winners are tournament champions and the other 6 are good enough to place and team A's 6 dual meet winners only produce 2 champions while only 2 of the 4 losers place... Well, you get the point.

Lastly, the phenomena is greatly exasperated in a small field tournament like this.
