UVA, GT, & NC State had 7-9 ACC records...

last season and made the WNIT.

Here are the comparisons:

2014-15 GA TECH 19-15, 9-7 ACC, RPI 84, SOS 49, vs. Top 100 2-15

2014-15 NC STATE 18-15, 7-9 ACC, RPI 68, SOS 39, vs. Top 100 5-12

2014-15 UVA 17-14, 7-9 ACC, RPI 111, SOS 81, vs. Top 100 5-10

VA TECH now: 16-12, 4-11 ACC, RPI 117 (likely to go to 113?), SOS 79, vs. Top 100 2-10

Tech will have to beat UVA and probably win at least 1 ACCT game to have a chance. 18-13, 5-11 ACC with a RPI around 100. Our lack of Top 100 wins hurt along with a weaker SOS. Playing all those cupcakes early in the season won't help our cause.
