Nice Calphalon 4 qt saute pan, want it for stir frying and other stuff. Kinda one of those things you can only find at a particular very expensive price, perhaps fair traded.

So, usual storefront has it for half the price, I order it, it shows up, but is the sauce pan not the saute pan. Again, storefront but "fulfilled" by Amazon and something you'd normally buy at that price, but actually less.

Switch and bait? I'm not giving them a pass on it. Sure, they refunded the money immediately once I dropped it off at the UPS but wonder if they were hoping I didn't notice for a couple weeks (mid March) and therefore own it.

It seems like a great game too, storefronts come and go so you can blame them... but the old one's gone, and darned if their isn't a new storefront that has the same "one left" item. Can't complain to Amazon, can't complain about the product eg leave a nasty comment. Storefront probably dosn't care, (I'd be curious to see if they still have 100% rating, seen other items with "comment not applied b/c fulfilled by Amazon)

Amazon's playing games I think, no one to blame when things go wrong (although efficient returns: b/c you were paying attention)
