Exactly what leverage do the P65 teams have in this scenario?


What are they going to do, not send their players to the NFL?

Also why do you think that a P65 league would have any more luck policing the behind the scenes graft than the current NCAA has? I do not imagine that they will be given powers to legally compel production of evidence so both are basically comparable.

I do not mean to dash your dream, but I do not see how all of the legal issues can be overcome to limit it to revenue sports. I also agree with VTHokie2000 above that this is going to open a Pandora's box of litigation. The research dollars awarded every year dwarf the athletic revenues generated and it will not be very long before some enterprising legal group tests that waters with litigation to spread that wealth around as well. The eventual outcome of this will be to destroy the collegiate educational system as we know it I am afraid.

Just food for thought though.
