EDGEMAN - follow-up to your post last Saturday re: ESPN BB games...

The following is the broadcasting schedule of ESPN and Disney family of networks on 2/6/2016 and 2/7/2016 (tomorrow):

ACC - 2 games on ESPN (Duke @ NCSU and ND @ #2 UNC); 1 game on ESPNU (#9 Miami @ GT)

SEC - 1 game on ESPN (LSU @ MSU); 2 games on ESPNU (#25 USC-e @ #8 aTm and Ole Miss @ Vandy); 3 games on SECN (Bama @ Mizzou, UGa @ AU and Ark @ UT)

Big XII - 1 game on ESPN (TCU @ #7 KU); 2 games on ESPN2 (OSU @ #13 ISU and #14 WVU @ #15 Baylor); 1 game on ESPNU (KSU @ #1 OU); 1 game on LHN (UT @ TT)

B1G - 1 game on ESPN (#4 UMCP @ #18 Purdue); 1 game on ESPNU (UNL @ Rutgers)

PAC12 - 2 games on ESPN2 (Stanford @ Cal and Utah @ #16 UO)

AAC - 2 games on ESPN2 (Cincy @ Memphis and Houston @ Tulsa); 1 game on ESPNU (Temple @ UCF)

Items of note:

ACC: 14 of 15 universities play/played this weekend. #9 UVa and #19 UL were not on ESPN. 3 of the 6 teams shown on ESPN were bluebloods from the state of North Carolina.

SEC: All 14 universities play/played this weekend. SEC had 3 games on ESPN family of networks outside of the SECN. 12 of the 14 universities were covered by the ESPN family. #20 UK was not on ESPN

Big XII: All 10 universities play/played this weekend. All 10 universities were on the ESPN family of networks! I guess it also helps that 5 of the 10 Big XII universities are ranked.

B1G: 10 of 14 universities play/played this weekend. Only had 2 games on ESPN family of networks, however 4 of their schools did not play this weekend. #5 Iowa, #10 MSU and #22 Indiana were not on ESPN.

PAC-12: 10 of 12 universities play/played this weekend. Only had 2 games on ESPN family of networks. #23 Arizona was not on ESPN

AAC: 11 of 12 universities play/played this weekend. Although not covered on the main ESPN channel, the 12-team AAC had as many or more games covered by the ESPN family as 3 of the power 5 conferences

This weekend should be a more typical weekend since there was not SEC-Big XII challenge. I think your observations were pretty solid.
