There's a thread just shortly down below asking and answering same question

long story short

you seem to have a grasp of the public BS story that is insignificant regarding different degrees held, etc. - obviously all of that stuff is just window dressing for decisions that are purely basketball-related

the question of WHY - and who's idea it was ... is now kind of blurry to me.

At the time it was my opinion that he wasn't a fit and Buzz wanted to get younger and etc. etc., it was just kind of like look Adam if you want to play full time you probably should take advantage of the grad transfer it'd be best for everybody, and you'll get a better chance to showcase for a possible euro career or whatever ... that was my perception

Buzz apparently said something in a pre-game interview though that indicated that the situation went down in a less-than-agreeable way, and I don't imagine Buzz would even remotely bring that up if Buzz felt like he wasn't wronged during the process.

Which kind of surprised me.

That's all the public information there really is.

I would LOVE to know an "insider" take on what actually went down here or who was "right" and who was "wrong" in the situation?? At least in the opinion of a basketball insider and comparing this situation to what is generally considered decency amongst thieves in college basketball transfer circles ...
