I personally think that UCONN with the ACC is better for both parties


assuming ND becomes the 16th full member for all sports, UCONN adds to both men and women's basketball, possibly some olympic sports since they were #15 in Directors Cup standings for 2014-2015.
As to football, they are fairly well supported by alumni and Conneticut residents. There TV markets include NYC, Boston and other fairly sizeable TV markets between NY and Boston such as Hartford, New Haven, Providence.
They suffer from the same issues as NJ with Rutgers but the key difference is that Conneticut residents give a damn. I saw this from working on consulting assignments in the state
