Could be, I never read about MK before, either (spoilers)

And if it was, IMO they should have explored that up front in the TV show. Once they made it clear that existed, I didn't know what was real anymore. I'm still not sure. *Was* he a costumed avatar to an Egyptian god? Or does he just have a third, very violent and skilled, personality? Or is it both, and the Egyptian god stumbled onto it? Whichever of those choices is correct, there are inconsistencies. I mean, his girlfriend apparently know he has "the suit" and early on referenced it and asked him to get it, yet also was shocked when he went all nutso at the end and wiped out everyone ("What the hell was that?"). So we are supposed to believe she knows he has a superhero suit, and yet is shocked when he does superhero things?
