Interesting Thought

This season, Keely pitched two games against Louisville: A total of 13 innings, and gave up 11 hits, 7 runs, 4 earned and struck out 19.

Last year, Keely threw 20 innings against Louisville and gave up 8 hits and only 2 earned runs and struck out 37.

Lemley only pitched one game (this year, of course), 7 innings, gave up 4 hits and one run, and struck out 16.

I'm sure there's hundreds of other metrics the staff reviews to eventually make that decision.

As Pro said, perhaps it's a combination of the two.

This is a prime example of we fans being fans. And whatever decision the coaches make, if it doesn't work, we have a better idea. That's part of being a fan, right?
