I stated in my original post why IMO. Obviously the track is free….


….to invite any series that they want.

It just doesn’t make for good racing. The track is way too long and the cars get too separated. I generally like NASCAR road racing(Watkins Glen and Sears Point) but not COTA.

I bet the COTA officials like F1 fans better. That track was packed when I was there in October. Not nearly that many people at the NASCAR race.
