Just called my financial advisor and requested to send me a check for the

account and close out the account. Tired of watching it sink into obscurity. Will put the money in the credit union with their miniscule interest return, but at least it will be positive and I won't be paying several thousand dollars a year for a service fee on an account where the advisor is making more off my account than I am. I'm great at making the wrong decision at the wrong time, but I just couldn't take another day of negative stock market prices. He still has my retirement account, so what next?
