Everything small is a compromise. You have to want something your phone doesn't provide to buy one of these cameras.

Generally speaking, I don't need a "full size" camera because I'm not going to take that with me unless I'm specifically heading out to take a picture. Guess my old Canon AE1 Program let me know how much I would use a full size...which isn't that much. I've owned several pocket cameras over the years that I've been happy with, but I stopped carrying them once smart phone cameras improved. But they just don't have a very good zoom capability...
