You are right, but it's either good for us or meaningless

it's a non conf series against a low RPI team. ND keeping up their RPI is good for our RPI and winning against bad teams doesn't help. So while you are right and ND has likely known they were gonna cancel unless they somehow needed those games (no idea what that scenario would be). My question is, how did W&M not ask about that and if they did and ND told them it was OK when the games were scheduled, then W&M should be asking for a nice check to cover their losses.
