Hokie Golf Preview - Week 19


There are three Hokie golfers going this week, so we can have a full preview this week.

Johnson Wagner got a sponsor's exemption to play in the Wells Fargo this week, which has moved from Charlotte to TPC Avenel in Potomac, MD, because Charlotte is hosting the President's Cup this year. Wagner is 236th in the FedEx Cup this week. He has made 2 cuts in 3 attempts this year, but missed the cut last week in Mexico.

Trevor Cone is playing the Korn Ferry event in College Grove, TN this week. He is currently #149 on the points list. He is 4 for 7 making cuts this year, with his best result being a T45 in Bermuda. He missed the cut last year on his only other time playing this course.

Sarit Suwannarut is in the field for the Asian Tour event in Korea. He is 1 for 2 making cuts on the Asian Tour this season, with his only made cut being in his home country of Thailand. He is currently #109 on the merit list.
