if you don't really know how to drive one. Esp. a 500hp one. You goose the throttle when you didn't think you had it in gear, and it is going to launch on you. Probably right into a tree.

I expect he is just waffling on his story as he tries to come up with a version of events that don't make him sound like a complete dufus.
