likely to sweep (34%) than FSU is to lose 1 or more games (32%). But the scenario where ND wins 2 games and FSU loses 1 game also puts FSU in the 4 seed. That's a scenario with a reasonable chance of occuring which you say you won't consider for some weird reason.

Math works. No need to try to outsmart it by "not considering" certain scenarios.
