You can tell most of their fans are new.

The ones that have been around for a while remember the Report (named, I believe after the UVa president that commissioned it, but I could be wrong there) that recommended dismantling the UVA baseball team amongst other things. The reasons cited included terrible attendance and poor team performance.

In other words, their fans are just as fair weather as ours. They just happen to have gotten good (and profoundly, deeply good) before we did.
