Gurus who know Folk and Freestyle, contrast Sam Fisher with regard to

What strengths did he display to win the 86kg U20 championship that are not as important in Folkstyle? How have his weaknesses in Folkstyle been minimized by Freestyle.

Until yesterday, Sam has been "very" low on the depth chart. He is rarely mentioned by the coaches and wrestling articles. WHAT CONTRIBUTED to this amazing turnaround at the U.S. Open??

BTW, I assume Sam's Greco experience (2019 Cadet Greco 1st in 2019) gives him a leg up in Freestyle upper body but why hasn't that translated to Folkstyle??
