To their credit, VT hitters have been patient all weekend on close pitches


BC pitchers have been around the plate. The umps have been calling balls and strikes on close pitchers. Whether we get hits or walks, we have been having to figure out whether to swing or not. BC has been pitching well. The umps have been close on everything. So the hitters have been challenged.
