While I think the Hokies had a lot of good ABs... working counts, etc... they didn't really hit well today. SOme of the best hitters don;t do much. Ritter doesn't do well. Peck also didn't do well. As Chip wrote, VT let plenty on base. The walks were the key. The hits were basically singles that advanced runners but not enough to score.

I really wish Jayme would stop swinging at the first pitch, just once. Her approach this season is not working,. She needs to change something up and it might be about being patient LIKE THE REST OF HER TEAMMATES. She is getting key outs many times. This is NOT a dig on Jayme. It is an observation for a hitter who is struggling with a .250-ish BA

The ump was pretty liberal on the outside of the plate. low, as well as sometimes inside. THough sometimes it seems consistency was the theme of the day.

The announcers.... had balls and strikes wrong, Had players names wrong.
