Young played a lot of freshman and sophomores


At wofford on some really good teams. Murphy and alumna included. Yes it was the southern conference but murphy and aluma played heavy minutes as young players on teams that beat UNC. (Twice), Georgia Tech, Seton hall and almost beat Kentucky. He’s not scared to play young kids.

My theory is with the coaching staff in place and having more of his kids on the roster he’s very willing to recruit kids who can play right away. So rather than hope current guys make big jumps to starting roles he can get younger kids who can play right away. Just my theory but he has a track record of letting young guys play early.
