Not the least bit shocked. People need to get used to this being

the new norm, and it’s from the change in the transfer rule. DNG had not improved his game enough to backfill a starter position on this team, so he’s decided to move on where he could. He hadn’t used his “free” transfer and with CMY recruiting players at his position it was just a matter of time before he was going to bolt. I’ve been expecting it.

This is the new reality of college basketball and recruiting. We are all going to be rebuilding our teams from the portal pretty regularly. It’s now essentially a game of musical chairs.
