I go to Tony the barber here in Tallahassee


Nole Superfan for 50 plus years, was barber for ole Bobby most of his career. He and his two sons run an old school shop and their knowledge of Nole fb and baseball is encyclopedic.

This week after getting groomed I put my VT hat on and asked the boys how the baseball team was doing (24-15, 11-10). They winced and one said "talent lacking this year".
I low key stated that my school had top ten rated baseball and softball for first time ever...they were impressed!

I assured them that we don't have the legacy of FSU in small ball but our AD made some good hires and things are looking up. They agreed that it all starts with coaching.

BTW- I know Mike Martin, their HOF baseball coach through my church another low ego super nice guy similar to coach Bowden.
