That's really the issue....not just pitching changes, but the reason for it

when pitchers don't throw strikes, batters take more pitches. They they walk, then they change pitchers. It's what slows down a game.

Midweek games have pitchers who rarely see the weekend, why? Cause they don't throw strikes consistently.

MLBs issue to me is the batters and their prepitch rituals. Get in the box, stay in the box and play ball. Pitch clock is less the issue than keeping the batter in the box.
