Regarding your first idea that 97kg might be less star power - this thought actually crossed my mind as well when looking at entrants. On the second point, I suppose using him as a possible back-up could be a strategy....but I am not sure I see this as viable. He just seems way too light to me. However, not sure who would be Catka's back-up next year so there is that - let's hope he stays healthy.
