Like with everything, there are pro's and con's here

Yes, I would most likely buy season tickets. We live over 3 hours a way so we couldn't attend all the games, buying them would be more for just supporting the team and making 1 to 3 series a year.

But to me, charging admission could very well have a negative impact on attendance at some point. Looking ahead way down the road, we may not ALWAYS be ranked and there may not always this same peak level of excitement. Would hate to do anything that could diminish the crowd size / atmosphere that our student athletes enjoy.

We've driven the kids up for 6 games so far this year and the stands have been packed for all of them which has been great. In just looking around, a measurable number of the fans seem like they just popped in for a few innings or are watching more casually which is fine. If charging admission would mean losing some of that audience, it may not be worth it. Even a 10% reduction in attendance would take away from the atmosphere.
