I didn't mean to say they would seed 32 teams this year just that ....


with them thinking about it, it might result in them giving a deeper thought so not to put a say 21st ranked team with a 5 seed in the region when the 21st team should be with a 12 seed or so. Of course, geography is a player but the committee probably doesn't want to make one region unfair (unfair to the highest seeded team) just due to geography. For example, putting a 22nd ranked Kentucky team with a 1-seed VT team in the Blacksburg Region when the 2-seed in that region should be more like team in the 30s like Liberty.
