Wins will not come easily. There will be some tense moments. Other teams will be dialed in and we will undoubtedly run into some very high quality pitching at some point. We will make errors now and then. But this team shows strong resolve and, importantly, they play with a lot of confidence. I’m sure one or more games will involve the “randomness factor” of balls put in play being hit right at the other team.

What a weekend. Three terrific wins and the weather in Blacksburg felt more like mid summer! (Do yourself a favor and avoid looking at the forecast for Brighton, Massachusetts next weekend…..yuck.)
