I said it would take a total collapse for Ferrari to NOT win the driver and constructor's championship this year, and that's almost what happened this weekend. Sainz was bumped off on the first lap by Danny Ricardo, ending his day. Max and Checo both had excellent starts, putting them into 1st and 2nd to start the race, and they stayed there all race. At the end of the race, Charles was in 3rd, pushing hard to catch Checo when he overcooked an entrance, flat-spotted his tires, bounced over a curb, flew across the track and bumped a wall hard enough to damage his front wing. He pulled into the pit for new tires and a front wing, dropping him into 6th place behind Russell and Bottas. It could have been worse for Ferrari, but not much worse.

Red Bull, on the other hand, had a great day with a 1-2 finish, and Max has the fastest lap of the day. They made a significant cut into Ferrari's lead. Ferrari just needs to regroup and hit Miami hard! New track that no one has driven before, so it should be interesting...

Congrats to K-Mag for another points finish. Haas sucked so bad last year that it's great to see them fighting again in the mid-pack.

I know Mick Schumacher is supposed to be a future Ferrari driver, but he better pick up the pace. He finished ahead of his teammate almost every race last year, but his teammate was the worst driver in F1...by a long shot. K-Mag is his teammate this year, and he hasn't been close to equaling his results this season. If he doesn't pick it up, Ferrari will find someone else to replace Sainz in two years.
