As a Huge Dodger fan in the late 70s,


I remember Gator mowing down my guys in the series.

Dad would let me stay up late to watch the series with him.

When the announcers first said that last night, I thought “what about the little guy that used to throw smoke for the Yankees?” It took me a bit for Guidry’s name to pop into my head.
