refocused is the nice way to say it....I thought she was angry and used it because she seemed to mow down every batter after that.

It is interesting to watch her body language. It doesn't change at all, no matter the situation, but her facial expression does and she has a bright smile as she takes the ball from 3rd, then game face snarl as she turns to face the batter. She is a competitor. Can't imagine what must go through the mind of Freshman on a team with such expectations through all this. But it has had almost no impact on her game and if anything seems to have made her work harder.
