I know it was two outs, but I think it was kind of like playing roulette,

i.e., not a very good gamble given where the ball and runner were. The only way she was going to be safe was if Tech made a mistake.

Thinking about it some more, I guess that happens a lot. Maybe it was not such a bad gamble.
