Beard had the past year to find next program while training in the top room


in the country. Beard likely knew he was done starting at State when Dean signed. I imagine his team spent the past season reaching out through intermediaries to determine the schools with the best rooms, scholarship money and a clear path to start.

With TJ coming on board, I doubt the staff would recruit over him. TJ has that kind of potential. Also, Penn State likely told TJ during his recruitment that Beard would be gone after this season, and TJ still chose us.

Let's give TJ a clear path at 197 next season or after he shirts.
