Anybody see this JUCO pitcher spear the batter as he’s rounding third after


hitting a home run? The pitcher played for Weatherford. The batter for North Central.

What gets me is North Central got punished more harshly than Weatherford overall. North Central players got suspended for leaving the dugout after the spear. What are they supposed to do? Just sit there while a teammate gets blindsided?

So many were suspended that North Central had to forfeit games 2 and 3 of the series for not having enough players. You teams had to forfeit Game 1 when the spear took place.

The pitcher is off the team permanently as he should be, but the guy he speared was suspended 2 games for taunting. If I were the North Central coach, I’d be livid.
