Sweden is the same way. Went there on a business trip a few years ago.


I'm right at 6-ft tall. That puts me in about the 90th percentile for height.

In Sweden, I think I'd be lucky to have been in the 50th percentile. Heck, I'm not sure I was in the 90th percentile for women. I encountered more women taller than me in two weeks in Sweden than I think I've encountered the rest of my life combined.
